For those who like pantyhose with a girdle, you know who you are, most likely you have realized that finding pantyhose with a girdle is very difficult. If you are on a quest to find Round the Clock hosiery than most likely you have spent a good amount of time on the computer trying to find a company who has them. I would love to play hero and say that Mleg Fashions has them in every size and color but sadly I can’t. Anyway lets get back to the real reason why I’m writing today, SPANX, though they are not the same as Round the Clock, they do come close. Spanx is well known for having extra control on your tummy, backside and buttocks. In fact some well known celebrities wear them, though they try to keep it a secret we all know that one day or the other thanks to the media, we are bound to find out. One little slip and BOOM! its all over the news.

Lets move on shall we? Spanx has two things that make them the perfect pantyhose:

1. they slim your tummy, thighs and rear.
2. They also have a sheer look on the leg.
3. They will give you full tummy support and the waistband feels comfortable.
4. They come in many sizes and colors….

Ok, so that was more than 2 things but that’s the beauty of it, these pantyhose have more advantages than disadvantages. Try one or two you might just fall in love with this brand.

Well known companies like Hanes have begun to make pattern hosiery. From Houndstooth to polka dots, there are many patterns that will help you personalize you style.

Denier: The weight and thickness of each thread of nylon yarn. The lower the denier number, the thinner the yarn, the sheerer the stocking.

Seamless Stocking: Also called “Circular Knit Hosiery”. Stockings knit in tubular form from welt to toe in one continuous operation and characterized by the lack of a back seam.

Sheers: Dress Sheers are stockings fashioned generally of 15 Denier yarn to be worn for daytime glamour. Walking Sheers are stockings fashioned of heavier 30 denier yarn to be worn for sturdy everyday service. Evening sheers are stockings fashioned of wisp weight 10, 12 or 15 denier yarn to be worn for special occasions.

Silk: Natural fiber obtained from silkworm. Used primarily for service weights in hosiery.

Stretch Yarn: Nylon filament yarn which has been processed by special patented techniques of twisting and heat setting to give the yarn its stretch ability. These processed yarns are sold to manufacturers who produce the finished hosiery.

As many as you know garder stockings are difficult to find. Fear no more! because we have them. We have them in regular and queen size. Support and non support and for the fashion people we have them in different colors and some with embellishments. Call us for further information!!!!

1.Care: Maintain well-manicured nails, especially your cuticles. They can be gone over very lightly with emery board to make them smooth. Use lots and lots of hand lotion, rich in lanolin. I use Vaseline Intensive Care.

2.Laundry: Rinse hosiery on the wrong side (inside out). Dry skin particles are only on the inside of the hosiery. Nylon only retains dye. It will not retain perspiration and thus a good fabric softer is the best ingredient you can use to wash your hosiery. DO NOT RINSE OUT. This works best for me and leaves a fresh clean scent on your hosiery.

3.Sizing: If you are borderline in a size, try going up to the next size. Ill-fitting garments are not only uncomfortable but also more prone to faster runs. Reinforced-toes fit better, thus should probably wear longer. Both sandal-toe and reinforced- toe hosiery should be loosened by pulling them away from the toe at least ½ inch. This should be done immediately after putting them on and twice in the morning and twice in the afternoon. A stocking that is too tight can do more damage than a shoe that is too tight, as it interferes with circulation.

4.Damage: The most vulnerable times are: A when we first put them on and B when we go to the bathroom as we are thinking about a long list of other things. We tend to pull harder than we realize.

5.Thigh-Highs: If you haven’t tried these, please do! They are the answer to many problems they are economical, cooler in the summer, excellent for maternity, and needless to say men love them on their ladies.

6.Support Leg Wear: Knee-highs, thigh-highs, regular stockings and panty hose. All these items can aid in circulation and can help to ease tired legs. However, they will not prevent varicosities, there are varying degrees of sheerness depending on your needs. If a doctor should recommend support hosiery determine whether they are talking about a regular support or something much stronger called “medical support”, which can be purchased in pharmacies.
